CLAIRE BOUGH
Brand Strategy + Visual Identity
Claire Bough is a content strategist and copywriter who helps expert-led businesses build a clear, cohesive, and effective content ecosystem. Her work sits at the intersection of: content strategy SEO and search visibility thoughtful, high-quality writing.
Rather than producing content for content’s sake, Claire focuses on connecting strategy, structure, and execution so everything works together toward long-term growth.
As Claire’s business evolved, her expertise and direction became much more refined, but her brand still reflected an earlier stage of her business. While she already had strong messaging, loyal clients, and deep strategic knowledge, her visual presence still felt too DIY and small-business focused for the level she was operating at.
Project Objectives: The goal of the project was to reposition Claire’s brand to better reflect her expertise, authority, and long-term vision, with a clear focus on attracting higher-value, higher-paying clients, including larger businesses and teams. She wanted a brand that felt more elevated and structured while still maintaining warmth, personality, and creativity.

Claire’s brand started with an in-depth strategy process designed to uncover not only what her business does, but how it should feel to clients interacting with it.

Visual Identity
The visual identity combines editorial elegance with human warmth to reflect Claire’s calm, strategic approach to content marketing.
The logo features refined serif typography paired with a clean sans serif tagline, balancing authority with modern clarity, while customized details and subtle italics add movement and a more personal, writerly feel. A small imperfect circle acts as both a visual “period” and a symbol of Claire’s holistic approach, bringing together brand, audience, and SEO into one connected system.
Supporting elements like notebook-inspired patterns, handwritten details, collage textures, and subtle paperclip motifs reinforce structure, creativity, and thoughtful organization while keeping the brand approachable and deeply human.
